How can you help?
Support on of our Lotus needs and make a difference.
Lotus Lift — Feeding Scheme & Canteen. We need funding to keep our daily feeding scheme running and to stock the canteen so that no learner goes hungry during the school day.
Lotus Living — Vegetable Garden. We are looking for seeds, soil, tools, and volunteers to help us establish and maintain a vegetable garden that will supplement our feeding programme.
Lotus Lunch — Chicken & Egg Project. We need support to set up and sustain a small chicken and egg project on the school grounds — funding for coops, feed, and starter stock will go a long way.
Lotus Love — Donations. Any donations of stationery for staff and learners, textbooks, Answer Series, sports equipment, or general school supplies are gratefully received.
Lotus Larder — Pantry. We need ongoing contributions of non-perishable food items and grocery staples to ensure our school pantry remains stocked and learners in need always have access to basics.
Lotus Leadership — Staff Support. Our staff give everything to our learners. We are seeking support to fund resources, training opportunities, and small initiatives that recognise and invest in our dedicated team.
Lotus Link — School Partnerships. We are actively looking for businesses, organisations, and schools to partner with us — whether through funding, mentorship, resources, or skills — to help build a stronger Lotus High.
Lotus Learning — Academic Support & Mentorship. We need tutors, mentors, and learning materials to give our learners the extra academic support they need to reach their full potential, particularly in key subjects.
Lotus Lounge — Matric Support Space. We are creating a dedicated space where our Matric learners can study, access textbooks and materials, and feel a sense of purpose and belonging as they prepare for their final exams.
Lotus Lab — Science Lab. Our science lab needs urgent upgrading. We are seeking donations of equipment, chemicals, glassware, and funding to ensure our learners can conduct proper practical experiments.
Lotus Line & Light — Creative Arts Room. We want to equip our art room with the materials our learners need to express themselves creatively — paints, canvases, pencils, and basic supplies make all the difference.
Lotus Lyrics — Music Room. We are building a music programme from the ground up and need instruments, sound equipment, and resources so that learners who have a passion for music can develop their talent.
Lotus League — Sport. Sport builds character, discipline, and pride. We need funding for equipment, uniforms, transport to fixtures, and coaching support to develop sport at Lotus High.
Lotus Lighthouse — Wellness & Guidance. Our learners face real challenges inside and outside the classroom. We need support to fund counselling services, wellness programmes, and guidance resources that nurture their mental health and wellbeing.
Lotus Layout — Classroom Revamps. Many of our classrooms need urgent attention. We are looking for support with furniture, paint, repairs, and basic supplies to create dignified, functional learning environments for every learner.
Lotus Ladder — The Next Step After Matric. We want to ensure that Matric does not feel like the end of the road. We need bursary information, career guidance resources, and partnerships with tertiary institutions to help our learners plan and pursue their futures with confidence.
