We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to Solar Saver for their incredible generosity and support of Lotus High School.
Through their donation of over R350,000 worth of solar panels, along with an inverter and batteries, Solar Saver has made a meaningful contribution to our school community. This installation will significantly reduce the impact of load shedding, ensuring that teaching and learning can continue with minimal disruption.
The benefits for our learners are substantial. Reliable access to power means more consistent classroom time, uninterrupted use of digital learning tools, and improved study conditions during periods when electricity supply is unstable. In addition, the system will help reduce the school’s electricity costs, allowing more resources to be directed toward educational needs and learner support.
